WEG Stand Alone Soft Starter SSW05
The SSW05 Plus Micro Soft Starters are compact, optimisating the space in electrical panels and incorporates all protections for the driven motor.
SSW05 soft-starters are static starters designed for motor acceleration, deceleration and protection. The control of the voltage applied to the motor, by adjusting the firing angle of the thyristors, provides smooth starts and stops. By properly setting the variables, the obtained torque is adjusted to the load requirement, ensuring the minimum necessary starting current.
The SSW05, featuring DSP control (Digital Signal Processor), is designed for optimal performance in motor start and stop, with excellent cost effectiveness. They incorporate all the protections for you electric motor, in addition to being easily set, simplifying the start-up activities and daily operations. Their compact dimensions contribute to the optimization of spaces in electrical panels.

WEG Stand Alone Soft Starter SSW07
The SSW07, with DSP (Digital Signal Processor) control, was designed for high performance on motor starts and stops with an excellent cost-benefit ratio. Easy to set up, it simplifies start-up activities and daily operations.
The SSW07 is compact optimising space in electric panels. It already incorporates electric motor protection and adapts to customer needs through its easy-to-install optional accessories.
Applications
The three-phase voltage control on the SSW07 allows its use in heavy applications, such as:

WEG Stand Alone Soft Starter SSW09
Soft-starters are drives dedicated to the smooth acceleration and deceleration of three-phase electric motors by controlling the voltage applied to the motor. With proper adjustment of the variables, the torque produced is adjusted to the load requirement, thus ensuring that the requested current is the minimum required for starting. The SSW900 is a soft-starter with three-phase motor control, built-in by-pass and torque control. Intended to drive motors from 10 to 1.400 A.
The SSW900 soft starters feature a microprocessor, incorporate state-of-the-art technology, and are designed to ensure the best performance in the start and stop of induction motors, being a complete, low-cost solution. The operating interface also enables easy parameter setting, facilitating the start-up and operation. In addition, the built-in Pump Control function enables effective pump control, thus preventing water hammer, and the torque control function enables accelerations and decelerations with linear speed ramps.
