The alpine conveyor system consists of multiple layers of conveyors that are stacked vertically. It is used for buffer processes, storage tower or as an accumulation and incline/decline to or from overhead transport systems.

Best for accumulation in a tight environment, the Alpine conveyor is used for conveying between floors; in-line processing for heating and cooling; overhead conveying to open up floor space; routing to and from automatic or manual inspection stations; and buffering between machines.
